About Journal

Bank Quest is the journal of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance. It is a theme-based journal published quarterly. The journal invites and considers manuscripts in both English and Hindi. All submissions undergo a blind peer-review process. The Journal is freely available on the website of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF). The objectives of the journal are to:

Provide members with a platform to present and share knowledge in the banking and finance.

Encourage, foster and publish papers on contemporary topics in banking and finance.

Aim & Scope

Bank Quest is a blind peer-reviewed journal which publishes original and high-quality manuscripts pertaining to banking and finance sector. The journal aims to present the theory, practice, analysis, views and research findings on issues and developments, that are relevant to the present and future of banking and finance sector. It seeks to promote academic rigor, policy relevance and industry applicability by encouraging contributions that advance theoretical understanding as well as practical insights into the evolving banking and finance landscape. The journal considers manuscripts in both English and Hindi and follows a blind peer review policy. Although every issue of the Journal is theme-based, non-theme-based manuscripts are also considered for publication. The journal seeks to provide a platform for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for the members of the Institute and also to create a space for the academics in disseminating original research findings and innovative knowledge in the field of banking and finance. The journal welcomes novel contributions from Bankers, Academics and Industry professionals on topics related to Banking and Finance. The indicated list is given below (but are not limited to):
