The Institute recognizes outstanding performance by candidates in the examinations conducted by it by awarding prizes to eligible candidates every year.

Institute will hold a "Prizes Awarding Function" immediately after conclusion of the 90th Annual General Meeting of the Institute to be held at Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, 3rd Floor, Seminar Hall, Kohinoor City, Commercial – II, Tower-I, Kirol Road, Kurla West, Mumbai – 400 070 on 15th July 2017 at 4 pm.

Candidates who are in the prize list and awarded prizes are requested to make it convenient to attend the function and receive their prize/s.

The travel and other expenses are to be borne by the candidate/s.

In case candidates are not able to attend the Prizes Awarding Function at Mumbai as indicated above, they may attend a similar function to be organized at the Zonal Offices of the Institute at Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata in August/September 2017 (the exact date and time will be communicated later).

Prize Winners are requested to inform us whether they will be attending the Prizes Awarding Function on 15th July 2017 at Mumbai OR the function to be organized at the Zonal Offices by E-mail at before 30th June 2017. Please quote your membership number in your email.

In case of prize winners who are unable to attend the AGM or the function at Zonal Offices, Prize amount and Certificate would be sent by post.

Criteria for awarding Prizes are as follows:

  1. Candidates who completes their examinations in all subjects in their FIRST PHYSICAL ATTEMPT in a single period

  2. For examinations with more than one subject: Candidates securing 60% or more marks in aggregate and pass in all the subjects

  3. For single subject examinations: Candidates securing 70% or more marks in the subject.

  4. Candidate/s who get/s prize for HIGHEST AGGREGATE / SECOND HIGHEST AGGREGATE for the examination and also gets the highest marks in an individual subject are not considered for awarding prize for HIGHEST MARKS IN SUBJECT/S. In such case, the candidate/s who has/have obtained SECOND highest marks in the subject/s is awarded the prize meant for HIGHEST MARKS IN SUBJECT/S. Consequently if there is a prize for the SECOND HIGHEST MARKS IN INDIVIDUAL SUBJECT/S, in such case, the same is awarded to , the candidate/s who has/have obtained THIRD highest marks in the subject/s

  5. Candidates re-enrolling for the examination after exhausting all permissible attempts as per the time limit rule are not considered

  6. Candidates completing their examination with aggregate rule are not considered.

  7. Candidates completing their examination with exemption in any subject are not considered.

  8. Candidates not completing Level-2 of the examination for blended courses are not considered.
