Advanced Course on ‘Climate Risk and Sustainable Finance’ is being launched formally by Shri Sunil T S Nair, Chief General Manager, RBI and Shri Sunil Mehta, Chief Executive, IBA, in presence of Shri Gopal M Bhagat, Deputy Chief Executive, IBA and Shri Biswa Ketan Das, Chief Executive Officer, IIBF (Standing L to R).

Shri Sunil T S Nair, CGM-DOR, RBI, is sharing his valuable thoughts on the importance of creating awareness and skillsets amongst the banking fraternity in the climate finance domain, during the launch event.

Mr. Mehdi Cherkaoui, Regional Manager-South Asia, IFC and Ms. Delphine Brissonneau, Senior Program Manager, European Union have shared their valuable thoughts through video conferencing.

Shri Biswa Ketan Das, Chief Executive Officer, IIBF emphasised on the importance of this course for the existing banking and finance professionals, as well as the students aspiring for a BFSI role in future.

IIBF organised a webinar on “Climate Finance Strategies and Disclosures for Banks and FIs” on January 18, 2024, with participation from Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions.
