Diamond Jubilee & C.H. Bhabha Fellowship

Introduction


The Diamond Jubilee Banking Overseas Research Fellowship was instituted by IIBF in 1988 to commemorate its diamond jubilee year. In 2007-08, the C.H. Bhabha Fellowship (offered by Indian Banks’ Association) was merged with DJBORF, creating the Diamond Jubilee & C.H. Bhabha Banking Overseas Research Fellowship (DJCHBBORF). To provide eligible life members of IIBF an opportunity to conduct research on the latest developments in banking & finance in India.

Selection Process


The fellowship encourages technically and economically feasible research projects with potential to significantly impact the banking and financial sector. Key focus areas include:

Final selection through Interview before an expert committee.

Fellowship Guidelines


Research under the guidance of a subject matter expert (Ph.D. holder, attached to a recognized research institution).

Awardee must submit two publishable reports within 6 months of study/visit.

An honorarium of β‚Ή1.00 lakh is awarded on successful completion.
