Delhi sometimes referred to as Dilli, is the second largest city in India, with over 11 million residents, the eight largest metropolis in the world by population.


Dr. Shah Md. Ahsan Habib is a Professor and Director [Training] of Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management [BIBM] - the national Training, Research, Education and Consultancy institute on banking and finance in Bangladesh. He obtained his Phd in International Finance from Banaras Hindu University, India under BHU Research Scholarship; and accomplished Post Doctoral Fellowship on Green Banking from Syracuse University, USA under Senior Fulbright Scholarship. His research areas include trade services, foreign exchange, financial inclusion and green banking. Dr. Ahsan has teaching experiences with several universities including IBA, Dhaka University, BRAC University, East West University etc. as adjunct faculty. He has more than sixty published research articles in national and international journals; and more than fifty news-paper features in English and Bangla national dailies. He is the lead author of the recent BIBM's Research compilations 'Trade Services by Banks in Bangladesh', 'Green Banking in Bangladesh', and; 'A Review of the Supervisory Initiatives of Bangladesh Bank'. Currently he is the Treasurer and a member of the Governing Board of D Net; and a member of the Governing Board of Dhaka School of Bank Management of BIBM under Dhaka University.
